Delete your Merchant Glance account
Account deletion is available directly inside the app. It permanently removes this app account and its managed access; the boundaries below explain what happens to your upstream stores.
Delete from the app
- Open Merchant Glance and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Settings from the bottom navigation.
- Scroll to Account deletion and tap Delete account.
- Read the native confirmation and choose Delete account again.
- Keep the app open until it confirms deletion and returns you to sign in.
What Merchant Glance removes
- Your Merchant Glance app account and authentication access.
- Store connections and app-persisted Nango credential custody associated with your account.
- Paid-order alert registration and this app’s device session.
- Related app data, including store connection metadata and any optional WordPress connection metadata or pending cleanup jobs owned by this account.
Limited de-identified security or audit receipts may remain when needed to prove system actions, prevent abuse, or comply with law.
What deletion does not do
- It does not delete your SureCart account.
- It does not delete your SureCart store or store data.
- It does not rotate or revoke your merchant-owned SureCart API key.
- It does not delete your WordPress site, WordPress user, Media Library attachments, or product content.
- It does not remove records held by an upstream provider under that provider’s own retention or legal obligations.
If you also want to revoke an upstream credential, rotate or revoke it separately in the provider that issued it.
If cleanup cannot be confirmed
Deletion fails closed. If Merchant Glance cannot confirm that its managed Nango connections, registered alert endpoints, or known WordPress cleanup state are terminal, the app does not silently claim that your account was deleted. Keep the safe error message and contact support so the remaining step can be resolved.
